Restart Rugby Alpine Challenge 2018: Mission Complete

Earlier this week our team of Restart Rugby trekkers, including former professional players Ed Jackson, Charlie Hodgson, Damian Hopley, Will Matthews and Mike Denbee, conquered Mount Buet in France to complete the 2018 Restart Rugby Alpine Challenge…

Thank you:
A big thank you to our 19-strong team of trekkers who have raised more than £42,000 for Restart Rugby so far, supporting players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship. A special mention must go to our founding partner RISE Management Consulting for their continued support of this unique fundraising event.

Ed conquers Mount Buet:
to watch the incredible moment former Wasps and Bath forward Ed Jackson reaches the summit of Mt Buet after making the 10,000ft + climb. Ed suffered a life-changing spinal injury in 2017, which left him virtually paralysed from the neck down. Restart Rugby supported Ed throughout his recovery and in return Ed as dedicated his time to raising funds and awareness for the charity. To date he has raised more than £34,000 for Restart Rugby.
