Combat Stress

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading military charity specialising in the care of conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety disorders.

Restart and Combat Stress teamed up in February 2013 to present Hanging Up Your Boots – an evening of talk and discussion about the challenges of life after a military or sporting career.

The event took place at The Royal Geographical Society and the panel included:
Former Restart Trustee and 2003 World Cup winner, Josh Lewsey MBE
Damian Hopley, CEO of the Rugby Players Association
England cricketer, Michael Vaughan OBE
Former Commander of the SAS, Brigadier Ed Butler CBE DSO

Net proceeds from the event were donated to Restart and Combat Stress.
