Jeremy Beard

Jeremy Beard

Jeremy qualified with haysmacintyre chartered accountants and tax advisors in 1990 and became a partner in 1995. Jeremy heads the Professional Institutes & Membership Bodies (PIMBs) group which is dedicated to servicing the business and tax needs of organisations operating in this sector. The group acts for over 100 clients including national governing bodies of sport, clubs, professional institutions, membership organisations, related charities and national trade associations.

As a regular speaker at sports seminars, Jeremy has on-going dialogue with UK Sport, Sport England and the Sport & Recreation Alliance on business matters affecting NGBs and sport as a whole.

In 2010, Jeremy became non-executive Chairman of GB Taekwondo, the elite performance arm of British Taekwondo and prior to this served on the Board of British Water Ski and Wakeboard. He is also a trustee of the Wycombe Royal Grammar School Foundation.

Jeremy has held various voluntary positions at Beaconsfield Rugby Football Club, and has been treasurer of the Friends of Rugby at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe for the last 7 years. He has been a London Wasps season ticketholder since 2004, and was the treasurer for Joe Worsley’s Testimonial Committee.

Mark Campion

Mark Campion

Mark is Managing Director of Campion Willcocks, providing project and change management services to some of the UK's largest financial and public sector organisations. Mark is an original investor in the US-based NYLO Hotels chain.

He is also an investor and adviser to Paythru, a specialist mobile payments provider, and Active Navigation, an intelligent data archive software business. Mark is also a non-executive Director of The RPA, Vice Chairman of the Fundraising Board of Fields in Trust (FIT), and has recently joined the Advisory Board of Imagine Sports Ltd.

Ben Kay, MBE

Ben Kay, MBE

Ben Kay played as a second row for England, appearing in three Six Nations tournaments, including England’s Grand Slam in 2003. He also played for the British & Irish Lions and represented England in the 2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cup tournaments.

A successful club career with Leicester Tigers saw Ben celebrate six Premiership wins and two Heineken Cup wins. He retired from a professional playing career at the end of the 2009/10 season after 11 years at Leicester. Ben went on to become a commentator for ESPN’s Aviva Premiership coverage and is now a rugby expert for BT Sport.

Simon Vaughan-Edwards

Simon Vaughan-Edwards

Simon is Managing Director of Hawker Chase, a headhunting firms specialising in the Defence and Cyber Security and Financial Services industries. Previously Simon was CEO of part of the Norman Broadbent Group and ran a number of successful listed and private equity backed headhunting businesses with offices in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York and Dubai.

Simon has personally specialised in the equity markets, both buy and sell side and the defence industry and is one of the most experienced consultants in this field, completing many high profile appointments as well as being involved in a number of small corporate and private equity deals. Simon was previously in the Army (Queens Royal Lancers) serving in Northern Ireland, the Gulf and Balkans. He is also involved with the Career Transition Partnership as a mentor helping members of the Armed Forces transition into civilian careers.

He has been involved in rugby both as a player and coach for forty years, playing for various Army sides and coaching juniors at Salisbury rugby club and Dorset ad Wilts county, but now spends his time on the touch line supporting his two sons or watching Bath. He has also been involved as a career mentor for the RPA, before becoming a Trustee for Restart Rugby.
