Restart Rugby launches inaugural Alpine Challenge

July 21st, 2016

3 Peaks; 3 Countries; 3 Days

This September, Restart Rugby are pleased to offer you the opportunity to join RPA Group CEO, Damian Hopley, and a few of his former international teammates on the inaugural ‘Restart Rugby Alpine Challenge‘.

Organised in conjunction with Chamonix Hard Cross, the challenge will take place from Sunday 11th – Thursday 15th September, covering three mountains in three countries in three days – Italy, Switzerland and France.

Based at a luxury chalet in Chamonix, France, with all meals and drink provided, your trek will cover over 60km and ascend a total of 4,500m, climbing the likes of Testa Della Tronche in Italy, Tete Ronde in Switzerland and Mont Buet in France.

This is the perfect opportunity for rugby supporters to join former players in a once in a lifetime fundraising experience, raising vital funds and awareness for Restart Rugby, the Players’ Charity.

RPA Group CEO, Damian Hopley, said: “This inaugural challenge event is a fantastic opportunity to explore the wonder of the mountains and enjoy excellent hospitality to aid recovery. We are really looking forward to welcoming our guests onto a very special Alpine adventure.”
